♡decided on production name - OPSS (initials of names)
♡created a logo
♡created storyboard
Peer assessment of other groups work:
♡story board was effective as there were images shot by shot that had text to provide information on the camera angles
♡could improve by providing a script so actors know what to say, what movements and what actions to do
♡shot by shot list was not too effective because it wasn't clear and did not reflect the story board
♡my group provided a script and story board (as seen above) - I would rate their movie that they based off our assets a 2/10 because they did not have any of the speech and movements that were in the script as they only took pictures. However what worked well was they were in the correct positions from the story board. It would be better if each shot type was accompanied by timings.

What makes an effective storyboard?
♡shot description
♡shot number
♡visuals
♡audio codes
♡storyboards are an essential planning device in the film and television sector of media
♡mostly used by directors as it allows them to think in advance about how they want the narrative of their media product to develop
♡it also lets them think through technical and audio codes they might use to create the narrative
♡making a storyboard helps media producers think through the moving image in their minds and then on paper with camera shots, angles and transitions all included
♡if a storyboard is well-constructed and thought out, it saves a lot and money when filming a moving image text
Camera angles
♡first line: in capitals INT (internal) or EXT (external) setting, exact location - time of day
♡character names: always in capitals
♡description of action: explains the scene in detail
♡sound effects: in capitals
♡characters lines: dialogue, justified centre of page, under name of each character
♡character intonation: in brackets
♡spacing: an empty line after each piece of information
