Create - design/draw

you will always be given three bullet points:

Content: appropriate colour scheme. Are your ideas appropriate to the brief and the question? Is the content engaging

 Layout: is it appropriate to the brief and the question? Do you understand the conventions of required pre-production material?

 Fitness for purpose: Is it relevant to the industry? Is it appropriate for the target audience? Justify your choices

Could be anything from:

 Wireframe

 Visualisation diagram (sometimes known as concept art or mockup)

 Sitemap (sometimes known as the infrastructure

 Storyboard 

 Script

 Mindmap

 Production schedule


Identify

Identify - write a point

Ensure what your writing is appropriate to the question

If just identify, don't need to explain or expand


Explain

Explain questions require you to build on the identify question

Think of explaining as expanding on your point

Usually explain questions will be within an identify question


Identify one act of legislation that is applicable to the creation of a new mainstream Pop magazine and explain and impact it has

Identify: Defamation

Explain: Journalists must not write negative things about people in their magazine articles as it would be libel. This ensures no ones reputation is harmed. 


2 marks, a short explanation

6 marks, explain in more detail and if asked, explain more than one point
