Production designer
Production designers are responsible for the visual concept of a film, television or theatre production. They identify a design style for sets, locations, graphics, props, lighting, camera angles and costumes, while working closely with the director and producer to discuss the creative vision.
1. what issues can occur for a production designer?
time constraints mean that they can't plan for problems to go wrong, e.g: actors get ill. Things they plan are too expensive
2. what skills, education, experience and training are beneficial for a production designer to have?
It is a good idea, however, to have a bachelor's degree in graphic design, theatre, architecture, or art, as this will give you a solid background in some of the key skills you'll need to get into the industry
